Aside becoming the new namesake of the format (and all other retro formats) according to Konami, Time Wizard has never made any sort of impact on Goat. Today, PsionicBG decided this wasn't okay and that it was time to put his luck to the test, potentially bring Time Wizard to the forefront of the format with his Second Coin Toss Chaos list! How have lady luck and father time treated him in GFC20? Read on to find out!

We've featured a Water Reasoning Gate Turbo list before in our deck techs. User Urtzuub piloted the archetype a few years ago during Goat Format Championship 15. The strategy is back again, though, as Yordan (AKA Void) is currently piloting it with an undefeated record!
We've started off Goat Format Championship 20 with 178 players! While the format's staple contenders are in attendance, there's also an unusual amount of spice being seen at today's tables. Francesco Fraietta (AKA GyomberMan), for example, is piloting an Earth-centric Monarch deck that features Gilasaurus!
Two of the most powerful and popular strategies of the format combined into one?! What could be better? This was likely the thinking of Logos Soup when they decided to enter today's event with this sweet "Chaos Monarch" brew!
232 entrants in the year's first Goat Format Championship, but only one can stand victorious! In the second day of the event the top 16 players from the day before will duke it out for the crown, but who are these talented duelists? Read on to learn more about them!
Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys is one of the cards that feels so powerful when it works, but can't seem to find a solid fit in the meta. This is mostly due to its weakness to the omnipresent chaos monsters of the format. Historically, Roberto Martinez's Shonen Jump New Jersey 2005 deck placed well with the fiery fowl, but Phoenix has yet to see that sort of success again. Players like Kenny Hughes still believe in the bird, though, and this belief is what drove him to pilot a Sacred Phoenix deck in today's event!
Congratulations to indoors on their GFC victory over 123 other players, the bracket can be found here.
The first tournament of the year has begun! After a hitting a few speed bumps before the start of the event, our 124 contestants were finally able to clash for glory and cash! Some are tournament regulars, while others, like creepinator45, are new to the scene. And though most would argue that with experience comes the confidence to think and act outside the box, this greenhorn's deck of choice highlights cajones that many veterans can't even claim. Ladies and gentleman, this morning creepinator45 woke up and chose violence, Mokey Mokey style. It was the final GFC before the World Championships, and the competition was fierce. Players brought their A-game in an attempt to conquer the Ninety-three that entered and win a place at worlds. When the dust settled, these four came out on top! Continue on to learn more about these amazing competitors!
