What you all have been waiting for, the Goat Format World Championship Top 8 Decklist! Look for future coverage of this event, including every deck list and video of every match played in the event. For now you can check out a replay of our stream on YouTube.

So it's come to this. This morning, forty-seven players entered Goatformat.com's first World Championship event. After a series of grueling high-quality matches, we are down to just four. The sign ups for the Goat Format World Championships are now open. Qualified players can follow the sign up the instructions found here. You have until 10:00AM Eastern 10/24/2020 to submit your deck ids. Once your deck is submitted you may not edit your deck. You may resubmit a new deck before the event begins, but the deck cannot be edited in the deck editor after submitted. Breaking of this rule will result in disqualification the the tournament. To resubmit a deck list use the command !resubmit on the GoatFormat.com Discord.

A reminder that the head judge for GoatFormat.com events is TKGriffiths. TK wanted to remind all players of the rules posted here. To always use the phases on DuelingBook, and our policy of once your match is available to be played that  10 minutes late = game loss, 20 minutes late = match loss. The countdown starts when either player tags the other in the tournament channel to indicate that they're ready to play. 

The World Championships are almost here. They will be taking place this Saturday October 24th. All registered participants will have from 7:00pm Eastern Friday October 23rd until 10:00am Saturday October 24th to submit their deck list. 

The list of the 50 participants who have signed up can be found here. No player will be added to the tournament bracket until their deck list has been submitted.

To submit deck list tournament participants must log onto the goatformat.com Discord, and use the command !join in the #world-championship section of our Discord. 

The World Championships will then begin at 10:00am Eastern (Saturday October 24th)

This post will cover a few issues regarding tournament policy going into the World Championship this weekend. In keeping with a proud tradition in YGO judging, we will not be changing any longstanding policies prior to Worlds, but we will be clarifying a few things that have always been true, but that have been inconsistently enforced up to this point.
