It has been 15 years since the original Goat Format World Championship, or for any invitational Goat Format tournament of any kind. This October GoatFormat.com will be hosting the Goat Format World Championship tournament. All finalist from the Goat Format Championship series are qualified for this event. In addition to those who have qualified from their GFC placements we have researched recent history of high level Goat Format events and the winners from those events are qualified.

Lastly we have the legacy invitation, all players who made Top 8 in Shonen Jump Championship or National Championship during the Goat Format era are qualified this event. Invites can still be earned by competing in Goat Format Championship Series tournaments.

​ptranxp placed 1st in the latest GFC. ptranxp is my personal favourite to win worlds (Raust). He has absolutely been taring up the competition in tournaments and on the ladder. definitely someone to watch out for.

Jinzo&Tonic placed 3rd in the latest GFC. I personally am absolutely over the moon for him but also sad for him as he only just missed out on getting a worlds invite. Some have been doubting Jinzo&Tonics credibility as a player for a long time, so it is great to see such a distinguished player finally get the recognition he had always deserved and with a rogue strategy no less! Stay tuned for the 1st place interview that will be out tomorrow. ​
