Earth Aggro is one of the most impactful success stories of the 2022 World Championship. Since ShaggyPowers' top 4 placement with the strategy, players the world over have gain a new respect for the strategy. One such player is Antonio "Mr. Demon" Storniolo, who earned his invite with Goblin Attack Force and friends at GCI 9. Earth Aggro is also Storniolo's deck of choice today, though he's opted to include his own spin on the strategy. 

74 duelists fought it out on day 1 of the Goat Format World Championship through 7 rounds of Swiss, and in the end 32 remained. Below, you can see what each duelist will be playing going into day 2!

We've already mentioned the Goat Community Italia event GCI 10 when we discussed the 2nd place Relinquished list, but now we get to focus on the winner of that event, Andrea "Juve89" Marzocchi! It was on the back of the time-tested Warriors strategy that Marzocchi won GCI10, but the decorated player decided on something a little different for the World Championship: Recruiters! 

Kevin "Splevin" Micenin is another veteran of the Goat Format scene. He's made top placements at GFC and FLC events, and has continuously proven himself as one of the best players in the world. Today, at the most important event of the year, Micenin decided to try and prove once again that he's got what it takes to be a champion. His deck of choice? Relinquished Turbo!
