Talking Goats This Sunday, 3PM EST

This Sunday at 3PM EST, we plan to do a talk show-style stream called "Talking Goats" in which some of our GoatFormat.com contributors will get together and discuss topics that are relevant to the Goat Format community. It will be streamed live at our Twitch channel and then the recording will be uploaded to our YouTube channel afterwards.

This first episode will feature ACP, Skully, and Mascis, and it will be about 30 minutes long. The topics that we will be discussing are:
1. What would make more people start playing Goat Format?
2. What should the future of online Goat Format tournaments look like?
3. And a third topic selected by our viewers.

Regarding 2 first questions :
1. Make it more newbie friendly. I tried to teach and play with my non tcg-playing friends to GOAT and Perfect Circle format. Most of them said that while the basic rules are simple enough, some rulings like priority and chains.

Featuring some individual cards with complex rulings in in-depth article with examples could help

Oh, and maybe add more cute, general GOAT related merchandise, like keychains. It could make even non-player got interested and learn about it, at least.

2. I think in the future, GOAT Format Online tournaments have to be in automated online simulator like EdoPro, Omega, or others. Not only it prevents rule-sharking and confusion which make it easier for judge to do their job, it can also taught newer players and let them did their own trial and error experiment.

Yeah, it provides the simulator to correctly resolve ALL rulings, but it has to be started if we want more players.
