Sleeper Meta 5: The Forbidden One

YOOO WTF IS GOIN ON!?!? ITS YA BOI, RRAAANNDAAAGE!! I'm BACK from hiatus and what better way to celebrate this MONUMENTAL return, than to renew the most critically acclaimed and restrictive tournament series in Goat Format history known as... SLEEPER META!? Yes! This will be the 5th installment of Sleeper Meta, focusing around EXODIA. One of the most FORBIDDEN brick deck and legendary mascots of Yugioh. You'd better stock up on Reloads, here's everything you need to know about SLEEPER META 5: THE FORBIDDEN ONE. 

The rules are simple, the results are sleeper. This time around it's going to be a bit different than the previous Sleeper Meta tournaments. 

Every deck MUST contain ALL 5 pieces of Exodia in their MAIN DECK, and NEVER be sided out. Usually we have a rule only allowing "5 non themed monster cards", but since Exodia pieces are such terrible cards, I'm going to make it easier on you. How you guys choose to build your decks is completely up to you. Commit to the brick deck? Try out a Chaos version? Control? Cards like Emissary and Exchange should be noted as High risk high reward threats in this sleeper meta. 

NOTE: NO ADDITIONAL BANS NOT ARE BEING SET FOR THIS EVENT ONLY THE ABOVE RULE. THAT MEANS BURN CARDS ARE LEGAL INCLUDING THAT PESKY WAVE-MOTION CANNON! SO BE PREPARED.

We will be accepting deck lists starting at 11:00AM Eastern on February 6th, 2021 via Discord, and the tournament will start at Noon. The Superbowl is on the 7th, so this should be a good way to remember when the tournament is being held. It will be an entry FREE tournament, and double elimination. A special reward of an Exodia funko pop will go to first place, second place will receive 15 days of Duelingbook donation, and the most creative deck (voted by the community) reward will be given a 1 month membership of GoatFormat.com VIP.
