Luke Boncic (AKA Graceless) would fit in right next to any Sith lord, as he clearly has a thing for both power, and the dark side. His Strike Ninja list, which he dubbed "Darkstrike Turbo", has been performing well in the early rounds of GFC17, but will it get him to the top?

Overview

Decks which focus on Strike Ninja are traditionally aggro decks that play recruiters and floaters like Mystic Tomato or Dekoichi to fuel Strike Ninja plays. Though they are usually paired with Return from the Different Dimension or Dimension Fusion as a way to end the game quickly, most lists are not as combo-centric as Boncic's seems to be.

Instead of Recruiters and floaters, Boncic has opted to play large four-star monsters like Nuvia the Wicked and Giant Orc, the ladder being extremely rare in the format. I think I've only ever seen it in Skill Drain Aggro lists, and even there it's not a common sight!

Player Insight

It's clear that Graceless favors power and speed more than anything else, even if it means playing something most others would consider sub-optimal. We asked him to explain his choices, and like any proud parent would be, he showed quite a bit of confidence in his baby.
I chose to play this deck because it can perform quick OTKs, and it is very resilient.

I wanted to make a deck that spit out big monsters quickly, while wiping your opponent's field of potential threats. I decided that the combination Strike Ninja and Dimension Fusion would be the best way to do so.

Apprentice Magician gets you to Witch's Apprentice, which can be a massive ATK boost in multiple copies for strong DARK monsters like Rare Metal Dragon, Giant Orc, and Nuvia the Wicked. Jinzo is a tech card for the current meta, as there are a lot of trap-based decks out there. Giant Trunade lets you push through backrow more easily.

[The tournament]'s gone alright... I think this is the best deck.

I can't wait to see where you both decide to take the deck after some personal 'upgrades'. Gl
