What is Dimension Fusion Turbo?

Dimension Fusion Turbo (often simply known as “DFT” or sometimes called “Dimension Fusion Chaos”) is a Yu-Gi-Oh! Goat Format deck that bridges the gap between Thunder Dragon Chaos and Reasoning Gate Combo. Like Reasoning Gate Combo, the deck can dish out big damage with Dimension Fusion. However, like Thunder Dragon Chaos, it plays a large volume of solid stand-alone monsters that serve as the engine behind the deck. It uses a variety of light and dark monsters to load the graveyard for Chaos Sorcerer or Bazoo the Soul-Eater, and then brings them all back with Dimension Fusion later to OTK the opponent.

How Does Dimension Fusion Turbo Work?

In order to place its monsters in the banished pile, Dimension Fusion Turbo uses its own chaos monsters but also often uses Bazoo the Soul-Eater. In addition, it typically plays 3-of flip effect monsters Dekoichi, the Battlechanted Locomotive or Gravekeeper’s Spy, either of which are great for fueling a big Dimension Fusion if they are hit by Nobleman of Crossout. To load the graveyard for its chaos monsters and Bazoo, Dimension Turbo Turbo has Thunder Dragon, Magical Merchant, Mystic Tomato, and/or Cyber Jar and Morphing Jar.

To set up the big OTK, Dimension Fusion Turbo of course needs it’s namesake card, Dimension Fusion. Sometimes the deck may play a copy of Return from the Different Dimension as well. Heavy Storm or Giant Trunade will clear the field of any set traps, and Lightning Vortex or Tribe-Infecting Virus can get rid of any face-up monsters. If you Dimension Fusion back Dark Magician of Chaos, you can also use his effect to get back a spell that might assist you in setting up the kill turn.

Why Dimension Fusion Turbo Is Viable

Dimension Fusion Turbo remains one of the most underplayed decks in Goat Format despite its proven viability. Historically, it has achieved a top3 ranking in the GoatFormat.com rankings system for an extended period of time. In practice however, potential Dimension Fusion Turbo players instead find themselves drawn to either pure Thunder Dragon Chaos or Reasoning Gate Combo rather than this hybrid strategy.

In comparison to Reasoning Gate Combo, Dimension Fusion Turbo is the less explosive but also lower-variance strategy. Because it plays more “normal” cards, it is much less affected by popular sidedeck cards that are backbreaking against Reasoning Gate Combo, such as Cyber-Stein and Anti-Spell Fragrance. Dimension Fusion Turbo is a good way to hedge your bets in an unknown meta and also a good choice for newer players to the format who aren’t yet sure if they’d prefer to play a control deck or a combo deck.

It's sad that there aren't many reprints of Dimension Fusion. It's a very expensive card, so it's very difficult to build this deck in real life (sorry for my english)
