Goat Format Championship 11

The first Goat Format Championship of 2021 is officially behind us, and a new champion has emerged from a record-breaking field of 139 players. When Alex "Sdlkilla" Saavedra sent Philip "TwistedFate" Rospenda to the losers' bracket in Winners' Finals, he looked all but certain to become the first back-to-back Goat Format Champion. But Rospenda had other plans! After making short work of AlephYa's innovative take on Reasoning/Gate in Losers' Finals, he was ready to take on Saavedra again, and he made sure not to disappoint: he rattled off four straight wins in what seemed like a matter of seconds to take the entire tournament from the losers' side of the bracket! Congratulations to Rospenda on his stellar performance, and congratulations to all of our Top 4 competitors for earning their spots at this year's World Championship. And stay tuned for more action as the 2021 season kicks into full gear: we've got GFC 3v3 and Clash of the Champions just around the corner, as well as the launch of our new Patreon-exclusive World Championship Qualifiers!
