Overview

Picture
Soar the skies and strike from above is the motto of Wind Aggro, the format's Wind Attribute deck. Rising Air Current raises the attack stat of Wind beaters like Flying Kamakari, Slate Warrior, and Luster Dragon for maximum damage. Kamakari recruits effective targets like Harpie Lady 1 and Lady Ninja Yae as problem solvers. Hand of Nephthys is also a legal search target, so the Phoenix package is a popular addition. Silpheed is a particularly effective beater for the strategy. Its on-death trigger forces the opponent to either lose a card, or play out their hand, risking removal or counter plays.

Some versions of the deck go all in on a six recruiter + six special summon package, which thins the deck quickly, and allows for swift field swarming. Others will opt for Birdface as an extra floater, grabbing either Cyber Harpie or Harpie Lady 1 post mortem.

Deck List

Harpie Lady 1 and Lady Ninja Yae are the Kamikari targets of choice here, chosen for their stat boosts and backrow disruption respectively. Three Spear Dragon make scapegoat less of an issue, and fuel our special summoners should they die on a return swing. Sakuretsu Armor and Widespread Ruin prevent attacks when possible, though, while Solemn Judgement keeps Air Current in play.
