Overview

Picture
Pixie Control uses the titular Pixie Knight to recycle the format's most powerful spells, using them to gain card advantage, answer threats, and take control of them game.

Most often, the deck is built using a Chaos Recruiter shell complete with Mystic Tomato, Shining Angel, and silver bullet targets like D.D. Warrior Lady and Newdoria. Angel is used to find Knight, who recurs Delinquent Duo, Graceful Charity, Pot of Greed, and others.

Bait Doll is iconic for the deck. Played as the spell and trap removal of choice (alongside Dust Tornado), it shuffles itself back into the deck after each use. This prevents the opponent from choosing and playing around it after Pixie deaths, while still allowing the Pixie player to have access to critical backrow destruction.

Pixie Control decks have higher-than-average monster and trap counts, usually only playing six or seven spells. This ensures that opponent's only choices when resolving Pixie are powerful staples.

Deck List

Chaos monsters banish spent recruiters and Pixies for easy shifts in board control, while Kycoo prevents the opponent from doing the same. Thunder Dragon acts as fodder for said chaos monsters, while also thinning the deck and, along with Sinister Serpent, fuels Phoenix Wing Wind Blast.
