Overview

Picture
Magnets, how do they work? Magnet Warrior Aggro attempts to combine each of the three smaller Magnet monsters (Alpha, Beta, and Gamma the Magnet Warriors) and special summon the deck's boss monster: Valkyrion the Magna Warrior. With its ability to then "split" back into each of its pieces by special summoning them from the graveyard, Magnet Warrior Aggro is able to trade between a singular large threat and a swarm of smaller threats.

The recruiter Giant Rat is often used to search for two of the three Magnet Warrior pieces. Exiled Force and Injection Fairy Lily are common silver bullet targets for the rat as well. The most unique method for finding each Magnet Warrior, though, is through Rock Bombardment. The rock support card is able to find and ditch any of the three magnets to the graveyard. From there, Dark Factory of Mass Production returns them to the hand where they can be tributed en-masse for Valkyrion.

Deck List

Dark Factory and Rock Bombardment are played in full sets here in order to maximize consistency. Their numbers could be reduced, though, in order to make room for additional Rat targets, battle traps, or Valkyrion protection.

Additional Card Options

The high number of Earth monsters make both Gigantes and The Rock Spirit playable. Rock bombardment gives additional support, and there's something to be said for tributing Valkyrion to summon the magnets, then banishing it for Gigantes, resulting in at least four monsters summoned in one turn.

Some players prefer to take a page from Vanilla Aggro and play extra normal monsters alongside Heart of the Underdog and other normal support cards. Gaia Power is usually included to make the monsters more threatening, while Skill Drain eliminates monster effects all around. Drain also means Valkyrion is able to take down Black Luster Soldier without fear of being banished.
