Last Warrior
Overview
Last Warrior locks the opponent out of summoning monster by summoning Last Warrior From Another Planet and then activating Light of Intervention. Usually, without access to monsters the opposing player will not be able to present any sort of threat to the Last Warrior player, who can then end the game either through burn or deck out.
There are many ways to summon the titular fusion monster, but the most common are through either cyber-Stein, or using metamorphosis on Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast. Polymerization and Fusion Gate variations of the strategy have also seen play.
Protecting Last Warrior is pivotal to the success of the deck. Therefore, counter traps like Solemn Judgement, and protection spells like My Body as a Shield are popular in Last Warrior decks.

Deck List
Cyber-Stein and Metamorphosis are the core choices for this list. Meta is most easily used on Fusiliar, but Gaia can also be tributed if the pilot is able to easily empty their hand. Additionally, Scapegoat tokens can be traded in for Thousand Eyes Restrict, allowing for more lockdown options and even a bit of removal.
Burn through Wave-Motion Cannon and Nightmare Wheel will end the game over time. Even without Last Warrior in play, Level Limit - Area B and Gravity Bind can buy enough time to either find a way to summon him, or kill the opponent with the aforementioned burn.

Additional Card Options
Polymerization and Fusion Gate can also be used as a means to summon Last Warrior. They are often supported with their respective search cards in order to maximize consistency. Maryokutai and Zombyra the Dark would then be played, since they are the original fusion material monsters intended to be used for a fusion summon. Fusion Substitutes like King of the Swamp are also popular, especially if they are easily searched for (like Mystical Sheep when paired with Rescue Cat) or serve an additional purpose (like King of the Swamp).
Zombyra and Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast both naturally pair well with Skill Drain. So, some prefer to combine the deck with a traditional Drain Aggro core, allowing for an alternative win condition. If done, Reinforcement of the Army will sometimes be played as a means of searching for Zombyra as well as any other powerful warrior the player might need.
