Insect
Overview
Insect is an aggro deck that uses Insect monsters and their supports cards, but does not have a focus on the Ultimate Insect archetype. Instead, Howling Insect and Arsenal Bug are the core. Both are powerful aggressive monsters in their own way. Pinch Hopper is also sometimes seen, because of its strength against battle traps. Finally, Insect Knight has great all-around stats and is a popular inclusion.
The main insect support spell used is Insect Imitation. While it can tribute a monster of any type (which playable it great with Brain Control and Creature Swap) the monster it finds must be an insect. Millennium Scorpion is usually the biggest bug you'll see, but spent Man-Eaters and other small monsters can be transformed into recruiters or beaters, too.

Deck List
While it doesn't work with Insect Imitation in the way everyone wants it to, Pinch hopper is still a decent attacker. If killed by a battle trap it replaces itself with a monster that can then attack within the same battle phase. Coupled with Howling Insect, and the high power of Arsenal Bug and Insect Knight, the deck has a respectable aggro plan. My body as a Shield can also fight back row threats. It's also superb at warding off Nobleman of Crossout targeting Man-Eaters.
Aggro aside, Howling Insect can also search out Swarm of Scarabs and Swarm of Locusts. Even when found during the opponent's battle phase, they can still activate their self-flip ability on the following turn and then be flip-summoned for some easy threat removal.

Additional Card Options
Lists which focus more on Pinch Hopper are also possible. Because Hopper's ability activates in the grave (same with Howling Insect) Skill Drain is usually included. Metal Armored Bug is the main target, but any bug will do. Solemn Judgement is a popular Drain protector, and Jirai Gumo hits hard with or without the Continuous trap. With the high numbers of life-loss cards, Megamorph isn't too unheard of.
