Congratulations to Jacob Medley, our Goat Grand Prix St. Louis Champion! With an exciting (and spicey) top eight, it was anyone's guess as to who would make it out on top. But, after fighting through two Chaos Turbo decks, as well as a Warrior list, it was Medley's own Chaos Turbo that reigned supreme. This was thanks in part to a very interesting transformational sideboard that took over game three of the finals, blasting Chaos Turbo opponent Cody Bryant away with double Wave-Motion Cannon to claim victory.
John Wells' Water Return list definitely made a splash as well. The rarely seen strategy had its share of the spotlight on camera, and carried Wells all the way to the top tables. Dan Magnin's Stein Turn list also had some time on stream, so there's plenty of spice to check out for anyone interested in unique Goat Format strategies! |
