Congratulations to Austin Bugg, our Goat Grand Prix Cincinatti Champion!

From the beginning, it looked like this would be a clash of generations to be remembered for years to come. Old-school veterans like Chris Pittao and Eddie Goodlander came out to throw down with new-gen mainstays like Josh Alicea, James Frazier, Adam Teshuba, Carl Waite and Marcus Hayden. Bugg had his work cut out for him in Top 8, facing down three top-notch Chaos Control players in a row. First, Bugg handed Pittao his first and only loss of the tournament. James Frazier was next, followed by Kyle Vergottini in the finals. After cleverly navigating around a desperate Reaper on the Nightmare in Game 1, Bugg was attacking for lethal after a matter of turns in Game 2, earning himself the GGP Cincinatti trophy and a spot at this year's World Championship!
