Congratulations to Daniele Casiraghi, our Goat Grand Prix Milan Champion!
We're off to the races with the second season of Goat Community Italia's record-breaking Championship Series, and Casiraghi has risen to the top of a field of almost a hundred players to claim the title here at Milan. Coming off of a near-miss just a few weeks ago at GCI's Season 1 Finale, Casiraghi squeaked into Top 8 with two losses after seven Swiss rounds, but a series of upsets on the other side of the bracket left him to face veteran Alessandro Longo for the title in a Thunder Dragon mirror match. There, Casiraghi's preparation ultimately paid off as he leveraged his sidedecked copies of King Tiger Wanghu and Mind Control to take the match and the tournament! Congratulations to our newest GGP Champion, as well as the first GCI champion of the new season! |
