Goat Grand Prix Fort Worth

One of the all-time greats of competitive Yu-Gi-Oh is back and looking better than ever. Congratulations to Ryan Spicer, our Goat Grand Prix Fort Worth Champion!

Deep in the heart of Texas, Spicer squared off against an incredible field including Kyle Bowling, Kevin "Fresh" Malone, Sean "Mercenary" Bush and Goat Format Champion David "Shogun" Lopez. With Malone finishing Swiss with a perfect record sporting his patented triple Golem Sentry Chaos Turbo list and Lopez coming in just behind him at 2nd, it looked like Spicer would have his work cut out for him as he entered Top 8 as the seventh seed. First, he got his chance for revenge against Lopez, who had defeated him early in Swiss. Then he blasted through Ricky Cassanova in a Turbo-against-Control showdown to earn his spot in the Finals. There, his teched-out Turbo list faced off against Jesus "OG Bechi" Gonzales's teched-out Warrior list, and with tight technical play and a clutch side-decked copy of Zombyra the Dark, Spicer edged out the win! Congratulations to Spicer on a stellar performance and a triumphant return to competition!
