Overview

Picture
Not to be confused with Elemental Heros, Element Aggro is a beatdown deck based on the elemental monster lineup. Cards like Element Dragon and Element Saurus are powerful if they share the field with monsters of the right attribute. The deck doesn't sprinkle as many attributes as possible into the deck, or hope the opponent just happens to play the right ones, though. Instead the element monsters are paired with Homunculus the Alchemic Being, who can change his attribute at will. This gives Element Aggro a unique versatility, as its monsters have access to abilities for almost any monster-related situation.

With a base of 1500 ATK on every elemental monster, recruiters are common in lists. Each element monster is either Light or Dark, so Shining Angel and Mystic Tomato are sometimes used to search out the right one at the right time. Of Course, Black Luster Soldier also often makes an appearance for the same reason. Element Dragon can also be found with Masked Dragon, who happens to be a Fire monster able to boost Element Dragon, Saurus, or Valkyrie.

Deck List

Element Dragon and Saurus are the most aggressive of the element archetypal monster, so they are played as a full three of each here. Masked Dragon searches and buffs, and makes Creature Swap a viable option. If its not pulling out Element Dragon, Twin-Headed Behemoth is a fine target. Its handy Wind attribute activates the double-tap effect of Dragon, great for clearing tokens or dealing extra damage.

Smashing Ground prevents the deck from being walled out by Spy, while Sakuretsu Armor kills threats larger than ours. With so many effective ways to deal with monster-based defenses, spell and trap destruction is next to be checked off. Dust Tornado fills the role well, destroying anything in the back row that might hinder attacks.

Additional Card Options

Though not included in the above list, each of the remaining element monsters has potential. Doom specifically, is worth a look any time a list is being put together. Homunculus being a Plant-type means Lord Poison can revive him. His water attribute is relevant to the element family, too. Lists that play Mystic Tomato might find room for him, too.
