Overview

Picture
Doriado decks combine the ritual monster with Fuh-Rin-Ka-Zan (FRKZ) for powerful swings in card advantage. The trap itself can be used to answer almost any problem that might be presented, and is absolutely back-breaking if it resolves more than once. This is why the deck frequently features a Mask of Darkness + Tsukuyomi package, much like Flip Control.

Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands, Senju of the Thousand Hands, and Sonic Bird are all played to consistently find and summon Doriado. Each also has synergy with Tsukuyomi, since their effects trigger when they are flip summoned.

With most of the core monsters in the deck being either light or dark, Black Luster Soldier and Chaos Sorcerer are often played alongside the rest. These monsters give the deck an end game, and help it to not rely on Doriado too much.

Deck List

A full three Tsukuyomi makes abusing the ritual searchers, Mask, and Dekoichi much easier. Only two of Doriado and her ritual are played for this reason.

Sakuretsu Armor protects Doriado and the other small monsters you'll be playing. Meanwhile, Solemn is a powerful Mask target that makes sure Doriado is safe and FRKZ resolves.

Additional Card Options

A Cat of Ill Omen searches out FRKZ, along with any singleton trap one might play to recur with Mask of Darkness. Dust Tornado, Time Seal, and Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell are all potential options.

Because she counts for every relevant elemental attribute, Element Dragon and friends all play well with Doriado. They're all Light and Dark, too, so chaos monsters are still viable in lists which they are included.
