Overview

Picture
Based on the best of the format's Dark attribute monsters and support, Dark Aggro's core cards are Mystic Tomato, Mystic Plasma Zone, and Deck Devastation Virus. Tomato has number of powerful search targets, including Newdoria to answer threats and Mataza the Zapper to help clear tokens or dish out intense damage. Plasma Zone makes Virus much more viable. With it in play, anything with a base ATK of 1500 or more becomes a viable tribute for the restricted trap. The reduction in DEF makes most of the deck vulnerable to Tsukuyomi and Book of Moon, though Virus helps mend this. This weakness also means traps like Sakuretsu Armor and Trap Dustshoot are common.

Any Dark monster is a potential player in Dark Aggro lists. The most common, though, are Skilled Dark Magician, Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer, Pitch-Black Warwolf, and Dekoichi the Battlechanted Locomotive.

Deck List

Tomato's main targets here are both excellent answers to enemy goat tokens. With a full three Warwolf to compliment them, it's rare for any deck to be able to disrupt the battle phase. Kycoo keeps Chaos at bay, and Saku and Dustshoot answer Tsukuyomi. All together, these cards create a decent balance of front row and back row answers that let the deck attack relatively unhindered.

Additional Card Options

In terms of raw power, Dark is likely one of the most stacked monster attributes in Goat Format. There are many viable options to play. Don Zaloog can be searched out by Tomato and, because of the many monster removal cards played, often hits for discard. Dekoichi is always a strong choice, and both Fear From the Dark and Regenerating Mummy keep Delinquent Duo in check. Zombyra the Dark clears Gorilla and Spy walls, and is an easy Virus target, even without Plasma Zone

My Body as a Shield and Solemn Judgement can help answer back row in lists that don't run Warwolf. Both are also great at preventing Nobleman from removing Dekoichi.
