Overview

Picture
Coin Toss abuses its namesake continuous spell in order to make the most out of some of the most risky cards in the format. The opportunity to re-flip coins means the effects of monsters like Sasuke Samurai #4 and Blowback Dragon are that much more reliable. Though less common, time wizard and Jirai Gumo also make appearances from time to time.

In order to make tribute summoning Blowback more reliable, Coin Toss decks often play a large number of recruiters. Shining Angel can find Time Wizard, and Flying Kamikari searches up Samurai. This opens up the way for Creature Swap, and in general makes combat tricky for enemy players. Fairy Box adds to the frustration, making every battle phase a head-scratching session of weighing risk versus reward.

Deck List

A maximum three Blowback Dragon is not common, but with five floaters, plus the near-impenetrable wall that is Jirai Gumo, resolving the gun head is not too difficult. Twin-Headed Behemoth helps in this regard, too, and can be found with Kamikari. Its synergy with Creature Swap is also worth noting.

Additional Card Options

Any card that requires you to toss coins is an option, but most of them questionably viable at best.

Megamorph has potential in lists that run Jirai Gumo. With the amount of removal that most lists play, it's possible to swing in more 4000 or more damage with some regularity.
