Clown Control
Overview
Clown Control focuses on controlling the field and obtaining card advantage by using Dream Clown, Blade Rabbit, and sometimes Crass Clown, in combination with cards that switch Battle positions. Stumbling is the most common of these effects, but Labyrinth of Nightmare is also seen. Together, these cards allow the pilot to repeatedly destroy opposing monsters.
Though Stumbling acts as a pseudo floodgate, Gravity Bind, Level Limit - Area B, Wall of Revealing Light, and even Messenger of Peace are also seen. These protect the weak core monsters of the deck, as well as the pilot's life points.
Giant Rat and Reinforcement of the Army (RotA) are frequently used to consistently find multiple copies of Dream Clown. They also allow for toolbox strategies.

Deck List
This particular list eschews Labyrinth of Nightmare, but otherwise plays most of the common core cards of the strategy. Mataza can end the game quickly with direct 2600 damage swings, and helps clear goat tokens. Des Lacooda's draw effect brings another level of card advantage to the strategy, and Tsukuyomi partners with Magician of Faith for even more shenanigans. With Stumbling in play and a Tsukuyomi in hand, the Clown player only needs a single Clown or Rabbit to destroy something every turn. Forcing one of them face down and then flip summoning it will trigger Stumbling, eliminating the need for the traditional plan of two rotating monster killers.

Additional Card Options
Giant Rat's toolbox potential opens up quite a few relevant options for the Clown Control Player. Mystic Swordsman LV2 (which can also be found with RotA) is an aggressive answer to face down monsters that can get under your most common floodgates. Rescue Cat can be sacrificed to find multiple copies of Blade Rabbit, and Golem Sentry can bounce threats much like Crass Clown. Even Injection Fairy Lily sees play as a way to finish off opponents quickly.
Spirit Reaper and Don Zaloog take advantage of an open board for easy discard. Don is tutorable with RotA, and is often seen in lists that play Messenger of Peace, since he can attack under it. If playing Mataza, Clown players will sometimes play Robbin' Goblin for the same reasons as Reaper and Don. Messenger of Peace lists will also commonly play Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6, who is immune to it, as well as Stumbling and Level Limit. The dragon is a powerful finisher that can't be stolen with Snatch Steal or forced face down with Book of Moon.
Curse of Fiend, Earthquake, and Zero Gravity are additional options when it comes to forcing cards to change their battle positions. Whether you play them or not, Tragedy fits well in any Clown list. Those lists that play Labyrinth of Nightmare will sometimes use Goblin Attack Force as a wall or threat. Often, these versions will play Fake Trap as well, due to their higher trap count and the overall importance of each of them.
