Overview

Picture
Chaos Return decks take advantage of Chaos Sorcerer's banish cost by playing Return From the Different Dimension. The powerful trap allows the deck to create huge threatening boards without warning, giving it a sort of combo feel.

Usually played in a full set, Sorcerer is most often fueled by Thunder Dragon, Dekoichi the Battlechanted Locomotive, Gravekeeper's Spy, and sometimes the Skilled Magicians. Despite the lack of Tsukuyomi, Chaos Return decks tend to play a high flip-monster count. This is because of Nobleman of Crossout. If an opponent uses Nobleman on the Chaos Return player's flip monster, said monster can then be brought back with Return. Chaos Return can also turn their Noblemans on their own troops.

Recruiters like Mystic Tomato and Shining Angel will also see play. Being floaters, they play well as aggressive options, and their stats are high enough to make them worth being summoned off of Return.

Deck List

A full set of Dekoichi and Spy fill the Dark slots here, while Thunder Dragon and Magician of Faith make up the Light requirements. The inclusion of Spy, Guard, and Faith means this list can play the defense well, potentially filling the control role if needed. Book of Moon and Solemn add to this.
