Overview

Picture
As the name implies, Chaos Recruiter employs a full set of both Shining Angel and Mystic Tomato in order to easy fill the graveyard with Light and Dark monsters. This supports the use of multiple Chaos Sorcerer, as well as the big boss himself: Black Luster Soldier.

Access to a full set of floaters allows the deck to play extremely aggressively. One-for-one trades with cards like Sakuretsu Armor and Trap Dustshoot are common, much like other aggro strategies.  However, Chaos Recruiter can also play for the long game, nabbing card advantage through Chaos Sorcerer and Creature Swap.

Deck List

Asura Priest plays multiple roles in the deck. Much like Angel and Tomato, It has great synergy with Creature Swap. It can also clear the way of tokens so that the recruiters can get in direct attacks, and returning to the hand means the Chaos Recruiter player is less vulnerable to board wipes like Mirror Force.

Tsukuyomi and Book of Moon may seem out of place in a deck that has only two flip monsters. However, just like Priest, the spellcaster pairs well with Creature Swap. Additionally both work well as outs to Thousand Eyes Restrict.

Additional Card Options

Anything worthy of grabbing with a recruiter is worthy of inclusion in the deck. As examples, both Don Zaloog and Spirit Reaper both provide discard effects and are found through a simple Tomato search.

With the means of fueling so many copies of Sorcerer,
Return From the Different Dimension is a potentially powerful game-ender.
  • Blade Knight
  • Don Zaloog
  • Roulette Barrel
  • Spirit Reaper
  • Return From the Different Dimension
  • Compulsory Evactuation Device
  • Solemn Judgement
