Overview

Picture
An aggro deck that has the intention of capitalizing on Bazoo the Soul Eater's banish effect by pairing it with Return From the Different Dimension. With an aggro shell of strong beaters, supported by backrow monster removal, Bazoo Return plays much like a typical aggro strategy. However, the existence of Return in the deck means it can, almost without warning, fill the board with threats and OTK the opponent, much like a combo deck.

There are typically two ways to construct a Bazoo turbo list. The first is with a Beastdown shell. This style takes Bazoo's beast typing into account, and supports it with Beastdown staples like Enraged Battle Ox, Berserk Gorilla, and King Tiger Wanghu. The second tends to focus on Thunder Dragon as fuel for Bazoo, as well as a Black Luster Solder (BLS), and more rarely Chaos Sorcerer, enabler. This leads the deck to play more Light and Dark monsters than it otherwise would in order to better support the chaos monsters.

Deck List

This is Weirdchamp's Goat Format World Championship list, with which they achieved a sixth place finish. Dekoichi and Skilled Dark Magician improve the Dark count, and King Tiger Wanghu keeps goats from stopping its big pushes.
