Goat Format Championship 20

He's done it again: Daniel "Lukaz" Fitzgerald is your newest Goat Format Champion! Before this weekend, Fitzgerald had won basically everything there is to win in Goat Format--except a solo Goat Format Championship. And the community didn't make it easy on him by any means: just to make it to Top 8, he had to make it past three Goat Format Champions in David "ShogunLopez" Lopez, Alex "sdlkilla" Saavedra and Jonathan Labounty! As Labounty proceeded to fall to Ludovico Rizzo in Losers' Semifinals, Fitzgerald had to navigate some confusing games against Kotsos's Panda Burn deck before facing Lele "Purple Drunk" de Angelis in Winners' Finals in the matchup of the format: Warriors against Chaos Turbo! De Angelis would try in consecutive matches to take this one home for Italy, but it wasn't enough: with convincing back-to-back wins, it was Fitzgerald who took home the crown. Congratulations to Fitzgerald as well as to all of our Day 2 competitors!
