Goat Format Championship 19

We've kicked off 2023 with the second-largest Goat Format Championship ever, and our newest Champion is a familiar face: Jonathan Labounty! But it wasn't an easy trip: Labounty kicked off his Top 8 run with a loss to Ivan Rossitto. He'd have his work cut out for him in the loser's bracket, with a gauntlet of Warriors, Chaos Turbo and even Spell Economics FTK ahead of him. Finally, Rossitto was waiting for him on the winner's side of Grand Finals, and Labounty did something that hasn't been done in a Goat Format Championship since 2021: he rattled off two wins straight out of the loser's bracket, stealing the coveted title from under Rossitto's nose! After a disappointing showing at Worlds, Warriors are back on top, and Labounty has added a Goat Format Championship to his illustrious resume. What else will 2023 have in store for us?
